Private administrative integration

Contractor Management Backup

Google Drive integration used by the administrator of Contractor Management App to store and recover encrypted production backups.

What this integration does

The Contractor Management Backup utility uses a Google Drive connection to upload, verify, retain, and restore encrypted backup files for a contractor-management software deployment. It is an internal administrative backup tool, not an application offered for general public sign-up.

Backup data is encrypted with restic before being uploaded to Google Drive. The Google account owner authorizes the connection through Google's OAuth consent flow.

Google Drive permissions

The integration requests the Google Drive drive.file permission, limiting access to files the integration creates or files explicitly made available to it. It uses this access for creating backups, integrity checks, restoring data, and deleting old backup files according to the administrator's retention settings.

It does not request access to Gmail, Google Photos, or unrestricted access to all files in the Google account.

Privacy and control

The OAuth tokens are stored on an administrator-controlled server in a root-access-restricted configuration file to support scheduled operations. Backup encryption credentials are handled separately from the Google OAuth connection.

For details about data usage, storage, retention, and revoking access, read our Privacy Policy. For operational terms, see our Terms of Service.

This page does not provide access to the backup files or production application. It exists only to explain the Google Drive authorization.
